Not every cruise begins with a flight. If you live in Orlando, or you spent a few nights in the city before sailing, the transfer starts at a front door instead of a baggage claim. The chauffeur comes to the address on your booking, be it a house in Dr. Phillips, a condo downtown, a vacation rental near Lake Nona or a hotel in Winter Park, and the car turns east toward the Space Coast.
From downtown Orlando the cruise terminals sit roughly 54 miles away, close to an hour of road by public route estimates. Your own car stays parked at home, the suitcases go from the hallway into the back, and nobody in the family has to navigate on embarkation morning. Tell us your ship, your sailing date and the boarding window, and the pickup time is worked out from those rather than from a guess.

Across Town, Then Out to the Coast
An Orlando pickup adds city streets to the front of the trip before the open highway toward Brevard County. The downtown figure is the one with a published source; an address farther out on the metro map may differ.

2
Bags by the door
The car arrives at the confirmed time. If someone is still zipping a suitcase, a residential or hotel pickup allows half an hour of waiting at no charge.
3
A detour across town
Collecting a relative at a second address? A single stop, capped at half an hour, can be added when you reserve; a longer one costs extra.
4
Unload at the terminal
Port Canaveral accepts commercial transport only when prearranged and prepaid, so yours is settled before the day and the car heads straight for your ship's drop-off.

Where in Orlando the Car Can Collect You
Pickups cover Orlando proper and its neighborhoods, among them downtown, Dr. Phillips, Lake Nona and Winter Park. It can be your own home, a short-term rental, a friend's place where you stayed the night, or a hotel. Put the full street address in the booking, plus anything that helps a driver find the right door: a gate, a shared driveway, a building with more than one entrance, or which side of a large property you will be waiting on. A mobile number that works on the morning matters more than any of it, because it is how the chauffeur reaches you if the address is hard to spot.
Flew In Early? Leave From Your Hotel
Arriving a day or two before the sailing gives a margin against delayed flights, and the transfer to the ship then begins at your Orlando hotel rather than at the airport. That makes it two separate trips: the airport run on arrival day, with the flight monitored and a meeting inside the terminal, and the hotel-to-port ride on sailing day. Each one needs at least two hours of notice counted from its own pickup, and each is confirmed on its own, so reserve both once your flights and hotel are fixed.
Choosing a Pickup Time
Begin with the boarding window printed in your cruise documents, then count backward. From downtown the road takes about an hour on the published estimate; addresses on the outer edge of the city may differ. Add a few minutes for loading the car and, if you asked for one, the stop on the way. Traffic does not change the fare, but it can change the clock, and a car service cannot promise that you make the ship, so leave slack rather than cutting it close. If you are unsure, message the booking desk before you pay.
The cruise starts at the gangway. The 46 miles between a runway and that gangway are the part worth handing to someone else.
Permitted at the Port's Curb
Port Canaveral restricts terminal access to prearranged, permitted commercial transport. This service holds permits at the port, at MCO and at Orlando Sanford, so nothing gets negotiated at a gate.
Your Party, Your Vehicle
A shared shuttle waits for other flights and stops at other ships. A private transfer leaves when your group is ready and drives to one terminal: yours.
Room for Cruise Luggage
Formal nights and a week of swimwear add up. You choose the vehicle at booking against your headcount and suitcases — up to twelve travelers and twelve bags in the Sprinter.
Car Seats at No Charge
Up to two car seats and two boosters come free. Ask for them in the booking form.
The Total Before You Pay
The booking form shows an all-inclusive rate for your itinerary before you confirm — no meter running east of the airport.
A 30-Minute Stop Included
Forgot the swimsuits? Every transfer includes one stop of up to 30 minutes on the way, requested at booking.
