Cruise first, parks next

Some families put the sea days first and save the parks for the end. That turns disembarkation morning into a travel day with two unknowns: when you will get through the terminal, and when the resort will hand over your room. A private car takes care of the first one.

You book with the ship and its return date, gather every bag, and contact the chauffeur once the whole party is standing together; the car is then brought into the pickup zone and the 60 to 70 miles inland begin, with driving that starts at about 55 minutes. The second unknown belongs to the hotel, so confirm its check-in timing directly with the resort. If you are likely to arrive early, request the half-hour stop your transfer includes and fill the gap over lunch rather than in a lobby.

Heading inland

Pier to Resort Entrance

This leg runs the other way from embarkation day, from the coast back toward the theme-park districts. The mileage moves within a ten-mile range depending on which resort you are booked into.

Last Breakfast Aboard to the Resort Door

  1. Share the return details

The booking takes the ship, the date it comes back, its terminal if you know it, and the Disney hotel you are heading to. Those fix the planned pickup.

  2. Clear the ship completely

Customs and every suitcase come first. Port security can keep a car from lingering at the terminal curb, so the chauffeur holds back until you are ready.

  3. Message, then meet

Call or send a message when the group is together. The car pulls into the pickup zone, and half an hour of waiting there is complimentary.

  4. Inland to the resort

From roughly 55 minutes of driving to your Disney hotel, plus the stop of up to 30 minutes if you booked one.

The Hand-Off Between Ship and Resort

You make the call

The car enters the pickup zone when your party says it is ready, so there is no fixed curb minute to hit.

Room for the returning luggage

Suitcases, carry-ons and anything bought aboard travel in one vehicle chosen for that load at booking.

A stop to bridge check-in

The transfer comes with one stop, 30 minutes at most: time for a meal while the resort finishes readying rooms.

Booked with the outbound leg

Reserve both directions together and each pickup is confirmed to you in writing.

Help in two languages

Bookings can be coordinated in Spanish as well as English; note your choice on the reservation.

The tip is your choice

Tipping is up to you, unless a gratuity is already written into the booking total.

When the Resort Isn't Ready for You Yet

Disembarkation can put you on the road inland well before the hour a hotel hands out keys. Your ride and your room run on separate clocks, and only the hotel can say when yours will be ready, so confirm check-in timing with the resort before the cruise. If a gap looks likely, the included stop is the easy fix: request it at booking and spend up to 30 minutes over a meal on the way rather than sitting in a lobby. Anything bought at the stop is paid for separately, and stop time beyond the half hour is billed.

Getting Off the Ship Before You Call

The rule at the terminal is simple: everyone off, every bag in hand, then the call. Port security may refuse to let a car sit at the curb while anyone in your party is still on the ship, so the chauffeur stays nearby rather than parked at the door. Once you phone or message, the car pulls into the pickup zone; from there, the chauffeur tells you where to go. The included wait is half an hour, counted from the confirmed pickup time; if the customs line is long, tell us and further waiting is coordinated depending on availability.

Pairing This Ride With the Trip Out

If you have not yet booked the ride to the ship, doing both at once is simplest. The reservation form's round-trip option takes the return date and time, and each direction gets its own written confirmation and pickup. The two legs count as separate services for cancellation timing, and a change made before the full-refund deadline carries no admin fee, although any difference in price still applies. If your cruise line alters your sailing, tell us right away; a change on its side does not cancel the transfer automatically.

Why private

Why Travelers Book a Private Ride to the Port

The cruise starts at the gangway. The 46 miles between a runway and that gangway are the part worth handing to someone else.

  • Permitted at the Port's Curb

Port Canaveral restricts terminal access to prearranged, permitted commercial transport. This service holds permits at the port, at MCO and at Orlando Sanford, so nothing gets negotiated at a gate.

  • Your Party, Your Vehicle

A shared shuttle waits for other flights and stops at other ships. A private transfer leaves when your group is ready and drives to one terminal: yours.

  • Room for Cruise Luggage

Formal nights and a week of swimwear add up. You choose the vehicle at booking against your headcount and suitcases — up to twelve travelers and twelve bags in the Sprinter.

  • Car Seats at No Charge

Up to two car seats and two boosters come free. Ask for them in the booking form.

  • The Total Before You Pay

The booking form shows an all-inclusive rate for your itinerary before you confirm — no meter running east of the airport.

  • A 30-Minute Stop Included

Forgot the swimsuits? Every transfer includes one stop of up to 30 minutes on the way, requested at booking.
