One group, one vehicle

A group that shared a ship does not have to scatter at the pier. Cousins, a wedding party, a few families from the same neighborhood: if everyone is bound for Fort Myers, putting them in a single Mercedes-Benz Sprinter keeps the conversation going and the luggage in one place. The operator's figures for this transfer are 195 to 210 miles and 260 to 330 minutes of driving, a long afternoon by any measure.

One vehicle means one pickup call at the terminal, one shared half-hour break for the entire party, and one total to review before paying. Twelve people and twelve pieces of luggage fit the van, subject to the seating layout confirmed for your trip. A slightly smaller group can split between SUVs instead; the sections below explain how to decide and what changes with each option.

The group's drive

Fort Myers From the Pier: What to Expect

The operator publishes these as driving estimates from the Port Canaveral terminals to Fort Myers. With a bigger party, the minutes before the car moves count as much as the minutes on the road, because everyone has to be ashore with their bags first.

Moving a group off the ship

From Several Cabins to One Vehicle

  1. One person books for all

The organizer enters the ship, the arrival date, every traveler including children, the total bag count and the Fort Myers address, then selects the Sprinter.

  2. Gather on shore

Everybody disembarks and claims their luggage. The car is called in only after the last member of the party is ready, not when the first one is.

  3. A single call

The organizer phones or messages the chauffeur; the included 30 minutes of port waiting run from the confirmed pickup time.

  4. One break, then Fort Myers

Everyone pauses at the same place for no more than half an hour, and the remaining miles go straight to the drop-off address.

Matching the Vehicle to the Size of the Party

On a drive of more than four hours, a cramped cabin is felt for every mile. Choose by head count and by suitcases.

Why travel as one party

Everyone in the Same Vehicle, on the Same Clock

Everyone arrives together

One vehicle for up to twelve means nobody stands at the destination waiting for a second car that left later.

Luggage counted ahead

Twelve bags fit the Sprinter; give the real count and any oversized items, such as strollers or a wheelchair, before the booking is confirmed.

Children count as passengers

Every baby and child takes a seat in the total; a pair of car seats and a pair of boosters cost nothing extra.

One total, one payment

The organizer sees the all-inclusive rate for the itinerary in the booking form and pays once, ahead of the port day.

Equal or better if plans shift

If the confirmed vehicle becomes unavailable, the replacement is the same category or higher with enough room, at no added charge.

English or Spanish

Coordination runs in either language; note the one your group prefers when you reserve.

One Sprinter or Two SUVs?

Count heads and bags honestly before choosing. Either six-seat SUV in the fleet takes six passengers and six large cases, so a party of seven to twelve either fits one Sprinter or splits across two SUVs. One Sprinter keeps everyone on the same schedule and the same stop. Two SUVs can let half the group leave the port first if their luggage comes off early, or head to different Fort Myers addresses. The trade-off shows up on the cancellation side too: a Sprinter uses a 72-hour window, while SUVs on a long-distance route follow the 48-hour schedule.

Timing the Pickup for a Large Party

The more people in a party, the more chances that someone is still waiting for a suitcase. Pick the pickup time with that in mind, and make one person the contact who calls the chauffeur once all are ready. Port security can stop a vehicle from idling at the curb, so an early call only means standing around. Once the group is aboard, 260 to 330 minutes of driving lie ahead before the stop is even counted, so any delay leaving the terminal moves your Fort Myers arrival back by the same amount.

Booking Rules That Apply to Groups

A Sprinter reservation can be cancelled for a full refund up to 72 hours before pickup, minus any outside cost flagged as non-refundable before you paid; after that point the full fare is charged. Edits made while a full refund is still possible cost no admin fee, although switching vehicle or itinerary may move the price. The port pickup itself must be reserved at least two hours ahead and paid in advance, as Port Canaveral requires. If your cruise line alters the sailing, tell the booking desk; the transfer is not moved automatically.

Why private

Why Travelers Book a Private Ride to the Port

The cruise starts at the gangway. The 46 miles between a runway and that gangway are the part worth handing to someone else.

  • Permitted at the Port's Curb

Port Canaveral restricts terminal access to prearranged, permitted commercial transport. This service holds permits at the port, at MCO and at Orlando Sanford, so nothing gets negotiated at a gate.

  • Your Party, Your Vehicle

A shared shuttle waits for other flights and stops at other ships. A private transfer leaves when your group is ready and drives to one terminal: yours.

  • Room for Cruise Luggage

Formal nights and a week of swimwear add up. You choose the vehicle at booking against your headcount and suitcases — up to twelve travelers and twelve bags in the Sprinter.

  • Car Seats at No Charge

Up to two car seats and two boosters come free. Ask for them in the booking form.

  • The Total Before You Pay

The booking form shows an all-inclusive rate for your itinerary before you confirm — no meter running east of the airport.

  • A 30-Minute Stop Included

Forgot the swimsuits? Every transfer includes one stop of up to 30 minutes on the way, requested at booking.
